Introduction

With an exhausted or degraded battery, battery life decreases significantly and repeated charging is required. Although the battery is located deep inside the speaker, it is very easy to replace.

What you need

  • Remove the rubber casing from the speaker using your nails to peel the cover off.

  • Pry out both covers that are on the front and backside of the speaker to reveal the screws to get inside the speaker.

  • Use a TR9 screwdriver to remove the eight 1.2 cm screws.
  • Use a spudger or opening tool to pry out the speakers.

  • Use a TR9 screwdriver to remove the six 1 cm screws that secure the motherboard.

  • Disconnect the three wire connectors marked, by firmly tugging on the wire.

  • Use TR9 screwdriver to remove the final two 1.2 cm screws that secure the battery.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
