- Remove the batteries before doing anything.
- Use the driver and bit J1 to remove the five 9.5mm Philips screws holding the remote together.

- Take off the half of the remote that had the screw heads facing up.

Step 3
- Slide out the circuit board.
- Use the soldering iron to desolder the 3 wires.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

Can you show the wheel controller mechanism. I can see 3 contacts on mine but I think mine is missing something that would bring the contacts together as you turn the wheel to steer left and right. Thanks.

I have a 1970 R/T charger RC car, 2.4GHz, I changed it up fully, but the pairing light wont come on. But I can show the lights,the control power is good.what is wrong can anybody help me find the problem and fix it.
