What you need

Step 1

              screen removal               
  • pull off the black bezel around the deges
  • it is held on by double-sided tape. be careful not to break the bezel it is a somewhat thin plastic sheet.

Step 2

  • carefully pry up the bottom of the screen. there is double-sided tape holding it to the back.
  • pry on one side at a time slowly and once you can fit a pair of tweezers befind the screen grab the tape. when yo pull the tape it will come off like 3m command hooks
  • be careful not to rip the tape
  • the tape is in two vertical strips about an inch from the edge

  • the replacement screen is a lp156wfg(sp)(B2) on the maingear vector mg vctr001 1660ti from 2020
