- Remove the damaged keys with a key cap remover by gently pressing onto the desired key cap. Pull gently and the key cap will come off.
- Make a note of where the keys are located so you know where to replace them.

- When removing the keys, remember where each one goes. You can place it in the order it was taken out to help you keep track.

- Check the keyboard for any blockages or obstructions and remove them with tweezers.
- Alternatively: use your fingers or any other grabbing tools like a pair of small tongs.

- Clean the area with a cloth or antibacterial wipe to remove any debris you might have missed.
- Remember, water damages electronics so be very careful with this step.

- Check your removed key caps to see if they are still functional, if not, you may want to get additional key caps to replace the old ones.

- If your key caps were damaged, take out corresponding new key caps to replace the old damaged ones.

- Insert the new key caps in by lining it up with the other keys and pressing it gently into the correct place.

- Test out your new key caps and double check its functionality.

- Plug in your keyboard and there you have it, a functional mechanical keyboard.
- If your keyboard is not fixed, it may be a circuit issue which will result in needing your whole keyboard needing to be replaced.
