Introduction

Before you start this guide make sure to test that the controller is indeed broken by plugging the controller in and moving the lever around to confirm if it is indeed not working or not. Ensure that your replacement lever is compatible with this controller.

If the lever is still not working please proceed to use this guide on how to replace your lever.

What you need

  • Unplug your controller from your console or pc.

Step 2

  • Remove the four 3mm screws with a Philips #0 screwdriver.

  • Remove the six 0.9mm screws with a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

Step 4

  • Remove the metal plate cover.
  • Find the lever inside of the controller.

  • Insert your Flathead screwdriver into the middle of the lever to hold it in place.
  • Twist the ball to remove it from the lever.
  • Remove the ball top from the lever.

Step 6

  • Remove the four 1.1mm screws holding the lever in place with your Phillips #0 screwdriver.

Step 7

  • Remove the lever from the casing of the controller.

Step 8

  • Pull the cable connected to the lever out of the socket.
  • Remove the lever from the case.

Pull the cable connected to the lever out of the socket.

Remove the lever from the case.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
