is there a newer bluetoth 4.0 / 4.1 board available for the mid 2009 15’’ model?

I second roblamper’s question… Yosemite/iOS 8’s new “Handoff” as well as “OS X+iOS AirDrop” feature(s) appear to be thwarted on the Mid 2009 MBP due to the existing Bluetooth hardware limitation. I suppose even if there is a Bluetooth 4.0 LE replacement available there may be some .kext changes required. Regardless, baby steps… First things first and that is discovering suitable hardware (-;

Does anyone know where the bluetooth board for a NON ANTI-GLARE model might be found? I’m presuming that I have to lift the logic board to get to it as I can’t see anything from the underside.

Hope you can help!

Thanks

John
