When powering up the camera, the display does not respond to the user.

If no picture is being shown on the screen from your camera, then first check the power and battery of your camera. After that make sure your camera and its receiver are set on. Verify if your camera is within range of its receiver. If it is then check to see if your receiver may also be out of power. If this is the situation then connect your receiver to its charger and plug it into the nearest outlet. After doing all these checks and checking the power, if your camera still refuses to turn on then it’s possible that the camera channel has just been turned off or deactivated. To activate the channel, click the Camera Setting icon and press OK to confirm. Next, click Activation and select OK.

Your receiver must be turned on for your LCD display to work. If the receiver refuses to turn on, then most likely the battery is dead. If the battery is not charging for the user then it may be completely defective and requires replacement. Otherwise, it could be that the receiver may be currently in power saving mode and the display could be fixed by turning it on by pressing any button on your receiver. If the Display Still refuses to turn on after all this then your screen is a lemon and needs to be replaced.

If motions do not cause your system to start up this will cause a failure to record any kind of video on your camera.

The Lorex 1080p Bullet Camera does not display recorded images from the camera clearly.

If the image shown is dark, unclear, or blurry then check the lens of the camera. Clean the lens with a clean dust cloth. If the lens is broken, chipped, or scratched you may need to replace this component.

If the signal coming from your camera is weak there could be an issue with the camera’s connection with its receiver. Check your receiver and make sure it is in close proximity to your camera and that the receiver’s antenna is out and raised. Make sure to remove any obstructing obstacles that could be blocking the receiver’s signal to the camera. If the problem persists then there could be a major issue with the wireless transmitter or the receiver’s antenna meaning it must be replaced. Remember to avoid installing your camera in an area that a wireless signal will have difficulty signaling through such as passing through an area of concrete, metal, or cement for example.

If your camera is only displaying a white image this is known as a technical term called White Wash. This happens when there is a bright light source pointed directly at the camera’s lens obstructing the recording. To fix this issue make sure your camera is located at a spot that is not pointed to a direct light source.

If your Lorex 1080p Bullet Camera appears unable to hold a charge.

The Camera is failing to charge could be due to a malfunctioning power supply. Check to see if your electrical outlet is functional. Then Look at the battery of the device and make sure the battery is in the right position. You can decipher the correct side of the batty by placing the This Side Down sticker on the bottom of the camera’s battery. If all this fails most likely the battery is a lemon and needs to be replaced.

Exposure to weather elements can damper the adaptor’s power to the cameras. If the connection isn’t strong and proper power flow isn’t occurring you may need to replace the adaptor.

This could be due to a broken internal component. If your recorded video isn’t appearing at the correct light saturation this could be because of a broken LED light. If you look inside of your camera you should be able to see a small foam ring around the camera lens that reflects low light. Remove this lens and clean it and place it back properly. If the problem persists after that then most likely the LED lights have burned out and need to be replaced.
