  • Unscrew everything. Beware: 1 screw is placed right under the serial number on the sticker. Some other screws are under the small resin stands. This will definitely ruin your warranty.

  • It’s not me, the resizing tool here is a joke. Anyway, you need to unclip the wrist pad and unscrew some stuff again. Like 4-5 screws here.

Step 3

  • Disconnect the on/off switch from the back cover. As you can see, all the plastic standoffs are melted and squashed so that you can take this plate off but only once. I tried to crush some of them, it’s possible but all of them will take way too much time and most likely you wouldn’t be able to have the same rigidity after all this.

  • Now you are left with this beautiful view. You can unscrew the ground for the small board and the board itself. You can even unscrew 2 screws on either side of the keyboard. What you cannot do is to take this whole metal backplate off simply cause logitech is trying to not let anyone actually clean this stuff and see the membrane trickery.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
