Introduction
If your K120 mouse is not scrolling up or down properly, you might need to replace the scrolling wheel. Before using this guide, inspect the mouse and for any debris that could get stuck in the scroll wheel gap.
Before you begin, make sure your K120 mouse is unplugged from your computer.
What you need
Step 1
Scroll Wheel
- Flip the mouse upside down.

- Remove the single screw from the bottom of the mouse using a Phillips #000 screwdriver.

- Separate the bottom base and the top base.

- Lift the scrolling wheel up.

- Remove the metal spring.

- Insert the new scroll wheel.

- Insert the metal spring back in the original spot.

- Insert the scroll wheel back into the mouse base.

- Place the upper base back onto the bottom base.
