Remove the intake guard
- Use a 1/2 inch wrench to remove the intake guard bolt behind the front wheel.

- Use a 1/2 inch socket to remove the five bolts securing the intake guard.

Remove the fan blade
- Use an impact wrench to remove the 5/8 inch bolt securing the fan blade to the spindle.

- Use a pair of pliers to remove the key from the spindle.

- Remove the fan spacer.
- Wipe the old grease off the spindle with a shop towel and apply new grease before installing the replacement parts.
