A dual-band wireless internet router released in 2013. This router supports both 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz wireless frequencies. It supports both USB 2.0 and 3.0 connections and can be controlled via smartphone. The router features Wireless-AC bandwidth.

The router is not providing a Wi-Fi network.

Make sure that the power cord is connected to the router. When turning on the router confirm that the Wi-Fi LED is a solid instead of flashing. The router may need a factory reset. Press the red reset button to bring the router to factory settings. If the reset button needs to be replaced, use our Reset Button Replacement guide

Confirm that the Ethernet cable is connected to the router from the cable modem. Make sure that the cable is connected to the yellow internet port on the router.

The router is not powering on when connected to an outlet.

Ensure that the power cable is securely connected to both the device and wall outlet. Try different power outlets to rule out a faulty outlet. Move the cable around while connected to the router, if power goes on and off then the cable may be faulty and will need to be replaced. If the router does not turn on at any moment then the power port is faulty. You can replace the power port using our Power Port Replacement guide.

When connected to the Ethernet port, the user is unable to establish an internet connection.

Connect a different Ethernet cable into the same Ethernet port. If the connection is established with the new cable, the original cable used is faulty.

Using the same Ethernet cable test the other three ports. If an internet connection is established with the other three ports, then the original port is faulty. You can replace the Ethernet ports using our Ethernet Port Replacement guide.

Unable to receive power or data transfer via USB ports.

Connect another USB cable to the original USB port. If a connection is established using the new cable, the original cable is faulty.

Using a working USB 2.0 cable, test the other port for connectivity. If power or data transfer is successful then the original port is faulty. You can replace the USB port using our USB Ports Replacement guide.

The antennas do not remain stable and in a fixed position.

Check the threading on the inside of each antennae to determine if a replacement antennae may be necessary. Use this Antenna Replacement guide if new antenna components are needed.

A replacement screw may be necessary if the screw is stripped.
