Introduction

There is only one caution that should be noted when working on this device: opening the cover. This should be done with caution as the motherboard is directly underneath it. If it is lifted up too much or with excessive force, the piece will snap in half.

What you need

              Strap               
  • To access the area underneath the camcorder, remove the two pieces covering the screws with a plastic spudger.
  • Remove the two Phillips #2 screws.
  • Gently pull up the cover.

  • Pull off the lens.
  • Be careful not to pull the cover too far up, otherwise it will snap in half.
  • Inside the device the motherboard and a screw will be visible.
  • Remove the pictured Philips #0 screw to release the strap.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
