Your Liifeprint is not establishing a wireless connection to your phone through Bluetooth.

If the lifeprinter 3x4.5 does not show up under your phones available Bluetooth connections in setting first try turning Bluetooth on and off again. If this does not resolve your issue then try restarting your smart phone/ smart device and then try connecting to the Bluetooth.

Your Lifeprint 3x4.5 may need to be restarted. To restart your device hold the button until the light shuts off, after which wait 15 seconds before powering the device back on.

If the above instructions on for your smartphone/device do not resolve the issue, there may be an issue with the app you are using to print from your phone. Try removing and reinstalling the newest version of the Lifeprint app that works with the Lifeprint 3x4.5.

The green light is not displaying on the side of the printer when the power button is pressed on the printer.

The devices battery could be dead and could be fixed by charging. To charge use the USB charger provided by the manufacturer. Plug in the charging cable supplied with the Lifeprint 3x4.5. After which the green or red charging light should be displayed on the side of the device.

If the original cable did not charge the device, there may be an issue with the cable. Try using a similar charging cable. If it does not work use the following guide.

Another reason the device could not be turning on is because the battery is faulty or dead. To replace the battery, slide the two outer pieces away from each other and separate the pieces to open the Lifeprint. Please use this guide for battery replacement.

A piece of photo paper may be jammed. This is easily recognized when a piece of photo paper is either stuck or doesn’t come out when printing.

Paper inside the printer can become misaligned and may need to be reset before printing. To do this, remove all paper from printer by sliding and removing the two main outer pieces of the Lifeprint. Make sure the photo paper is aligned properly face down inside of the paper compartment inside of the printer. To take off the top cover use this guide.

If the paper in the printer is bent crumpled or in anyway defective it could be causing the printer to jam when trying to print. It is recommended to discard the defective paper and replace it with not faulty paper to prevent any jams from occurring.

The jam could be caused by the roller which feeds the paper through the lifeprinter. In this case the problem could be resolved by purchasing a new rubber roller for the printer through the lifeprint website or by contacting customer service for life print.

The app used to connected to Lifeprint is not working.

There is a chance that your app is outdated or that you’ve selected an incorrect app that won’t work with your Lifeprint. Be sure that the app was created for your version of Lifeprint.

Bluetooth must be turned on to communicate with the Lifeprint photo printer. Bluetooth can be found under your phones settings and you should ensure that it is turned on. After which the Lifeprint should then be listed under optional devices to connect to.

In order to make sure there isn’t an issue with the Lifeprint, try connecting to the Lifeprint using someone else’s phone.

Photo prints display obvious errors in color, darkness, hue or alignment.

To be sure that an incorrect photo is not caused by a software issue, try turning off the power and turning the Lifeprint back on.

This problem could also be caused by heat dissipating device that uses heat to imprint the image onto the printer paper. Lifeprint can be contacted through their customer service page to acquire a new heat dissipating device.
