Battery
- Hold your phone with the back casing facing you and the bottom of the phone towards the sky.
- Push down on the cover and slide down to remove. You should only have to apply minimal pressure.

- Insert your finger into the small indentation above the battery.
- Push down on the battery and pull it away from the phone; it will pop out.

Keypad
- Grasp the edges of the phone with one hand.
- Unscrew the six 5.0-mm Phillips #000 screws located around the outside of the back panel of the phone.
- The screws are tight, so you have to use a little force when unscrewing them.

- Insert the spudger into the tab at the top of the back panel and push to release the panel.
- The back panel will then lift away from the rest of the phone.

- Flip the phone open with the back side still facing you.
- Grasping the phone on the sides, use your fingers to push up on the keypad and motherboard until they release from the phone casing.
- When you do this the plastic camera button will pop out. It is not directly attached to anything. Make sure to save it for reassembly because it must be placed back on its tab at the side with the camera icon is facing right side up to work correctly
