The phone’s display is damaged.
If there is a visible crack across the glass screen, you have a cracked outside screen. If this is the case, you must replace the outside screen.
If there is a crack in the display but not in the physical screen, then the likely cause is a cracked LCD or “inner” screen. The crack will result in the display turning blank either partially or entirely. If this is the case, you must replace the LCD screen.
If the image on the screen does not display correctly, you may have defective or dead pixels. If this is the case, you must replace the LCD screen.
It is difficult to press the buttons.
If pressing the buttons is difficult, or if the buttons are completely stuck, you may have debris in your buttons. If this is the case, you must disassemble the device and remove the debris.
If pressing the buttons is difficult or the keys don’t respond when you press them, you may have a broken keypad. The keypad lies underneath the buttons and is critical for the buttons to work. If your keypad does not work, you will need to disassemble the phone and replace the keypad. See Keyboard Replacement Repair Guide.
There is poor or no cellphone reception.
If you have a poor quality signal or no signal at all, you may have a bent antenna. A deformed antenna may affect the phone’s signal and will need to be replaced.

If you have had a poor quality signal or none at all since the time you purchased the cellphone, you may have a faulty antenna. A faulty antenna will affect the phone’s signal and you will need to buy and install a new antenna. See Antenna Replacement Repair Guide.
If you never pick up cellphone reception, you may be missing your antenna. There should be a one-inch, gray antenna on the top-right corner of the cellphone. A missing antenna will affect the phone’s signal and you will need to buy and install a new antenna.
There is distorted or no sound coming from the phone.
If your speaker has distorted sound quality, then the problem was most likely caused by the manufacturer. If you have a faulty speaker, you must either contact the cell phone dealer or replace the speaker. See Speaker Replacement Repair Guide.
