Battery drains and dies quickly.
Having too many apps open at once may put stress on the battery, and closing out apps that you aren’t using or don’t plan to use in the immediate future may fix that. Also make sure that other services like Bluetooth, cellular services, and wifi are turned off when not in use for maximum battery life.
The port will gather debris through day to day use. Try blowing on the port with a can of air or using a microfiber swab to force the debris out of the port.
The charger itself may become damaged. The easiest and only option is to replace the cable. An easy way to test this is by plugging the phone into a different charger that you know is working. If the phone begins to charge properly with the new charger, the old charger may be the issue.
If your phone is not easily disconnected from the charger or if the charger does not plug all the way in, the port may have sustained some damage. To diagnose, compare the port of the device to images of a micro-USB. Confirm that the charging port has a thin metal connector at the bottom of the charging port and that the charging cable still fits in the port. If your port does not match the shape of the charger, then it will be necessary to replace the port.
Poor battery performance that cannot be attributed to high usage may be the result of an old or faulty battery. If the battery is compromised here there may be no way to revive the battery. In this case, it will be necessary to replace the battery with a new one. An easy way to test this is to plug the phone into a new charger that you know is working. If the phone continues to not charge or charge improperly, then the problem is most likely the battery.

No sound is played when something is plugged into the audio jack
The cable that you are plugging in can become damaged and not continue to transmit the signal. To test this, try plugging a different cable that you know works into the audio jack. If the new cable works, then your original cable may be broken.
Dust and debris may accumulate in the jack. Try blowing into the jack with a can of air or using a microfiber swab to clean out the jack.
The audio jack may become damaged or bent out of shape. If you notice any damage to the phone jack it may be necessary to replace that component.
The phone partially or fully doesn’t turn on
If the battery isn’t charged to a high enough level the phone will not turn on. Try charging the phone for a longer period of time, or try using another charger that you know works properly.
Phone software is updated fairly frequently, and not updating can eventually result in problems using the phone. Try force restarting the phone by holding down the power key for 30 seconds. Release the power key if the phone turns on. Once it turns on, verify that the phone has all of its software up to date.
Examine the phone for irregularities or noticeable damages to locations such as the battery, charging port, or power button. If you notice damages, follow the appropriate guide to repair those components.
If your phone still won’t turn on it might require a restart. Try a forced reset first by holding down the power key for 30 seconds. If the phone still does not turn on it may be necessary to perform a factory reset. WARNING: this will erase all data on the phone, so make sure you have a recent backup.
