Phone is charging slowly or not at all. Phone will not recognize when charger is connected.
After a longevity of use, a battery might fail to work. Some batteries will overheat because the phone is using multiple applications simultaneously. If the charging cable is plugged in for an extended period of time, it will weaken the battery. To fix any of these issues, the battery should be replaced. LG Realm Battery Replacement Guide

Make sure there is nothing stuck in the charging port. You can put on small amount of rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab to remove any residue or debris from the port.
Phone does not respond when pressing the power button.
If the phone will not turn on, try charging the phone. Plug the charging cable into the phone MicroUSB port. Make sure the charger is plugged into an outlet so that the phone will be able to charge.
Screen will not respond to any touch.
If the screen is frozen, try restarting the phone. Hold down the power button and wait for the phone to power down. Then hold down the power button again and wait for the phone to restart. A slow keyboard might be the result of cached data. Go into your settings, and tab Apps. Scroll to the right twice until the “All” apps option is selected. Scroll down and select LG Keyboard. Then, under CACHE, tab Clear cache.
The light on the back of the phone does not turn on when prompted. The light doesn’t work when the flashlight application is being used or when the flash is turned on while using the camera function.
Make sure that the flash is turned on. Go to Apps at the bottom of the home screen. Tap Camera. Once the camera application is open, you will see an icon that resembles a lightning bolt in the upper right hand corner. If there is a line behind the symbol, then the flash is off. Tap the lightning bolt icon once to turn the flash on.
The phone does not vibrate when the phone provides a notification.
Make sure that the vibration settings are turned on. To do this, from the home screen, tap and drag the notification bar down. Tap the Settings icon, then tap Sound. Tap Sound profile, then tap the preferred option. To turn the vibrate function on or off for ringtones and notifications, tap to check or uncheck Ringtone with vibration.
Tip: If the Sound mode is set to Vibrate only or Silent, the Ringtone with vibration option will be disabled.
This issue requires repair or replacement of the motherboard.
