When pressing the power button, the device will not turn on.

Attach charger to the device and plug it into the outlet.Wait a few minutes and the device should light up, indicating that it is charging. If the battery fails to hold the charge for the expected duration see guide for Replacing the Battery.

If after leaving the phone plugged in for several hours it still will not turn on, replace the charger.

IF the charger port is damaged see guide for Replacing the Charger Port.

When using an application and it randomly becomes unresponsive or quits running and returns to the home screen.

Try to go back to the home screen. If still frozen, try to lock and unlock device (Soft Reset). If problem persists, turn device off, wait a few seconds, then turn it back on. Once the device is turned on open the application again.

When the device’s power is on, but it does not respond to commands.Or, when device simply will not turn on.

Remove device from the sun and let it cool off for a few minutes.

Try to go back to the home screen. If still frozen, try to lock and unlock device (Soft Reset). If problem persists, turn device off, wait a few seconds, then turn back on. If soft reset does not work see guide for Replacing the Home Button. Once the device is working again close all applications and websites that may be too intense for device.

Verify that protective cover, or case, is not interfering with touchscreen sensitivity. Perform a soft reset. Identify if operating system is affecting touchscreen functionality. Verify that there are no cracks on the display. If there are cracks on the display see guide for Replacing the Display.

When unable to maintain a consistent internet connection, or when the connection randomly drops, while wifi connection is available.

Toggle on and back off from preferred wifi connection. If problem persists, toggle on and back off from airplane mode. Wait a few seconds to ensure that all of the radios are powered off before tapping the airplane icon the second time.

If you can hear static noise, or audio quality fails to meet expectations.
