A broken charging cable could be a cause of the problem if your phone is not getting charged. To make sure your charging cable works, you can experiment with your charging cable by trying to charge another phone.
When the device is not charging you might want to clean up the port by blowing out the dust inside the port. Sometimes dust and/or debris can hinder charging.
If either changing your charging cable or cleaning the port do not help your device to get charged, you might want to replace the charging/data transmit port by replace the second part of the mother board. You can check out our LG Optimus F3 Charging port unit Replacement here.
If there is no sound from the headphones, first you need to make sure the headphone unit works. Try it on another device, headphones usually fits to any kind of device. If the sound does not come out again, the headphone unit is broken and you would need a new one.
Sometimes the software in the device affects the performance, so you might want to update your device software to the newest version.
