  • Place your thumb at the bottom of the phone’s back where the charging port is located.
  • Gently pull the cover off.

  • Using the indent at the bottom of the battery, lift and remove the battery from the phone.
  • Place the battery in a safe location as you will need it for reassembly.

  • Remove the ten 1.0 mm screws on the rear case.
  • Place the screws in a safe location as you will need them for reassembly.

  • Pry apart the joints to separate the inner case.
  • Insert the opening tool on different locations until the case comes off easily.
  • To avoid damaging the joints of the case do not pry if there is resistance.

  • With the inner cover removed, locate your headphone jack.
  • It will be in the upper right corner on the back of the phone.

  • Gently grab the headphone jack along the sides with tweezers.
  • Lift the headphone jack out of its socket.

Step 7

  • Insert the new headphone jack into the headphone socket by lining up the connectors and gently pressing down.
  • Make sure the dark side without the connectors is face up.

To reassemble your device follow these steps in reverse order.
