Remove the back cover
- Hold the phone with both hands and use the fingertip cutout located on top of the cover to pull it open and remove it.

Remove old battery.
- Lift the battery using the fingertip cutout located at the top of the battery compartment and remove it from the device.

Insert new battery.
- Remove the new battery from its packaging. Insert the battery into the opening in the back of the device, making sure the connectors align.
