Introduction

Before getting started it is important to know the difference between a regular light bulb and a refrigerator light bulb. refrigerator light bulbs are usually transparent or colored; are more durable to the refrigerator’s environment and more filaments are found on them to prevent any possible shocks. If you were feeling a bit hesitatant, this should have cleared it. Now, let’s move on!

  • Unplug the refrigerator.
  • Although it is optional, it ensures optimum safety when unplugged.

  • Carefully unscrew the lightbulb.
  • Handle it safely with a dry cloth.

  • Clean the socket with a dry and clean cloth.

  • Screw-in the new lightbulb.
  • Check to ensure it has been screwed in all the way.
