Regardless of your attempts to power the device into an active state, the screen remains blank.

Check to see if there is any debris inside the button’s opening that is obstructing the button from being pressed down. If there is nothing preventing the button from moving properly, then there may be an issue with its interaction with the battery and motherboard. Refer to this guide to open the device and take a closer look at the internal area of power button, potentially replacing it if necessary.

If there is insufficient charge in the battery, then the device will not be able to draw enough power to be able to start or run. Attempt to recharge the battery first, with the Smartwatch’s charging adapter for at least one hour. If the device’s battery still does not work, then it will need to be replaced. Recommended instructions for replacing a battery can be found in this guide.

It’s possible that aside from power issues, the LED display might not be working. Examine the LED display closely to see if any of the pixels are illuminated or if there is a backlight being turned on. If there is no indication that the LED display has changed, then it’s possible that the LED display is bad.

All attempts to input an action onto the watch’s screen results in no change of the display.

You may need to restart the watch. Press and hold the power button on the watch for 8 seconds to restart it. If that does not work, a factory reset might be necessary. (Note: this will erase all saved settings). For a factory reset, press and hold the power button on the watch until it turns completely off, then press the button once more to turn it back on. Immediately when the LG logo appears swipe diagonally from 11 to 5 on the screen to enter the bootloader. Select “Recovery Mode” and then “O”. Once the Android robot appears, tap the screen to bring up the recovery menu. Select “yes” and then press the side button. Once the factory reset is complete, select “reboot system now” and press the side button. Your watch should turn on and display the setup screen.

If your Smartwatch is on but the touchscreen isn’t responding to your commands, the touchscreen may just need to be cleaned. Dirt or water may have accumulated on the screen. Try using a cloth damp with rubbing alcohol to wipe the screen clean.

You’re able to turn on and use the Smartwatch, but it doesn’t stay in an active state for as long as you expect it to.

It is possible the WiFi connection is causing the battery to drain quickly. This is possible when the watch is connected to certain WiFi networks. Be sure to turn off all applications that aren’t being used. Having them running in the background could contribute to draining the battery.

If the device’s battery does not hold charge as long as it should, try draining the battery completely and then charging it back completely for at least one hour. If the battery still isn’t working sufficiently, it will need to be replaced. Recommended instructions for replacing a battery can be found in this guide.

Start off by restarting your watch. [Go to Settings> Restart on your watch] Switch the screen to “not always on.”

For some reason, the Smartwatch does not fit comfortably on your wrist and/or repeatedly falls off.

If the strap is detached from the watch, the latch may be broken. In this case, you will need to buy new straps for the watch. These straps are available through Best Buy’s website ranging from $10-$70. This guide will show you how to attach new straps.

If the straps aren’t long enough to wrap around your wrist and be secured by the latch, you may need to purchase longer straps. Straps are available in different color leather bands, NATO straps, and stainless metal straps in different sizes. Many of these straps are available through the Best Buy website ranging from $10-$70.

A default or downloaded program is unresponsive or not working in the way you expect.

Press and hold the power button on the watch for 8 seconds to restart it. Once it has restarted, try using the app that wasn’t working before again. If this doesn’t work, try checking the app’s webpage for updates.

If applications aren’t running correctly or they are running slowly, there may be necessary updates available for the watch. Check the Smartwatch manufacturer’s website for any available software updates.
