The phone won’t turn on.
Plug your device into a compatible charger and wait several minutes. Then check to see if the phone is responsive, and allow it to fully charge.
If your charging port is damaged, it may need to be replaced. Check the charging port for damage such as corrosion, bent/broken pins, and debris. If the charging port contains debris, gently clean it. Also verify that your charger is functioning and compatible with the device. Follow this guide to replace your charging port if needed.
Verify that you are using a functioning, compatible charger and outlet. Use a different charger to determine if your previous charger was damaged or incompatible.
Perform a soft reset by turning the device off and then back on. This may restore the phone to its original settings and enable calls.
Device won’t hold a charge.
Carefully pry off the back panel of the device, remove the battery and re-insert it. See how to replace your battery here.
My LG G Vista is unable to make calls to other devices.
Check with your service provider and ask to make sure you have coverage where you are.
Try moving to another location. The signal in your current location could be weak.
Ensure that airplane mode is disabled, as this prevents your device from receiving any signal and renders it unable to make calls. To turn off Airplane Mode, press and hold the power button on the back of the device while it’s turned on, and select Turn Off Airplane Mode to disable it.
The images in my screen look distorted.
Check to make sure the screen is clear of debris or dirt. Dust can accumulate beneath a screen protector. Use a soft cloth to gently wipe the dust off.
If the screen is black and nonresponsive, check for physical damage. If there is no visible damage, make sure the device is showing evidence that it’s powered on. If the LED Power Light is illuminated, this indicates the phone is powered on.
If the screen of your phone is physically damaged, it will need to be replaced. To do so, follow our screen replacement guide, here.

Ensure Data roaming is turned on. From a home screen, navigate: Apps > Settings > More. Tap Mobile networks. Tap Data roaming access. Tap one of the following: Deny data roaming access, Allow access only for this trip, or Allow access for all trips.

Safe Mode is a method for diagnosing problems with third-party apps that may be causing your device to reset, freeze, or run slowly. This will temporarily return your phone to factory settings in order to determine if the problem is attributed to third party software, or the device itself.
Put your device into Safe Mode by performing the following:
Press and hold the Power button (located on the back) until Phone options are displayed, then release. Select and hold Power off until Restart in safe mode is displayed. From the Reboot to safe mode screen, tap Turn on safe mode. After the device reboots, Safe mode appears in the lower left. This takes about a minute to complete. With Safe Mode enabled, test device and app functionality. If the issue doesn’t occur in Safe Mode, uninstall any recently installed or updated apps. Once these apps are uninstalled, power cycle your device to disable Safe Mode, and then reinstall and test the same apps to determine which one is the source of the problem.
