Removing Backplate
- Power off the device before starting speaker replacement.
- Remove SD card and SIM Card.
- With the opening tool, gently pry the back plate away from the main board. The corners are the easiest spots to start at.

Peeling Back Cover Off
- Gently pull the back cover away from the adhesive on the battery.
- It may be possible to use a blow dryer on low heat but I’d advise against it unless absolutely necessary.

Step 3
- Remove the the single screw attaching the speaker module to the motherboard.
- Swap in your new, working speaker.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
