The phone overall functions slowly, this could be when switching between apps and has long load times.

If there are multiple apps running in the background closing them out puts less strain on the phones processor. This phone has a relatively low processor speed and cannot handle many apps being used at a time, if it is still functioning slowly you can check your apps section in settings and force stop any apps still running in the background.

This could be caused by strenuous background usage or being left in hot temperatures. To fix this you can power your phone off for about 30 minutes to an hour and then recheck to see if the phone is functioning at an optimal speed. Another reason that is associated with overheating is the thermal paste around the motherboard could have lessened over time and needs replacing. To fix this issue clean off all the old thermal paste, and apply a new coat. You can use this guide to help replace the motherboard.
