The projector won’t power on, indicated by no running light and no response from fans, or projector shuts off at random times during use

Visually inspect your adapter; look for fraying of the cable, chips or cuts in the insulation on the wires, damage to the barrel connector end, or excessive heat coming from any part of the power adapter. If you see any of these things, your power adapter is either faulty or in need of replacement. In some cases, the connections on your cable can be dirty or corroded; clean the plug and connector end of your cable to make sure it forms good electrical contact.

If your device works only when pugged in and either dims out quickly or turn off while unplugged, your battery may be faulty. A good place to start is checking the connection to the motherboard. If the adapter is loose or unplugged, plug it back in. If this isn’t the issue, check the battery itself. if you have access to a voltmeter, check the voltage of the battery. The default battery in the projector should be no lower than 4.8v. If the voltage is lower than that, the lithium ion battery is below minimum safe operating voltage and should be replaced. To fix the issue use this guide.

If you cannot hear the fan while the projector is on it may be broken and your device may be overheating, to check your fan use this guide.

One or more components might be broken and/or missing on your motherboard. If your device does not respond to any inputs and plugging it in does nothing, it could be a sign your motherboard is faulty. If that is the case you can replace it using this guide.

The projected image looks fuzzy or blurry

Focus the projector by sliding the black plastic lever on top of the device back and forth. There should be a point where the image is crisp and properly focused.

Dirt or grease on the lens can blur the projection. Cleaning the lens with a glass cleaner meant for lenses can remove contaminants and clear up the projection.

If there are any visible scratches or scrapes on the lens unit, this will blur or distort the projection. If you see any, you should replace the lens using this guide.

The LCoS display is responsible for the image coming out of the projector. If there is a problem with it, it’s usually evident in sections of the projected image being black, the wrong color, or otherwise distorted. If this is the case, replace the LCoS display.

The projector isn’t producing any sound

Make sure your device is connected properly and all wires are connected properly. If the problem is connecting to Bluetooth specifically, you may have to replace your Bluetooth card using this guide.

In your device settings, ensure that the projector is the audio device not another device.

If all else fails, you will have to open up the projector and check the speaker. Replace it using this guide.

The volume on the device might be turned all the way down. To adjust it, move the power button to the left and right until the desired volume is reached.

The hue or saturation of colors being projected is warped or different from usual

Check the display settings on both your projector and your device. Experiment with the different options and see if it projects the correct colors.

Ensure all devices (The projector and the device which is connected to the projector) are powered on.

Make sure the cables are connected properly. If the input cable is loose then the best solution would be to use different cables to see if the problem is a faulty cable or the actual device

If the input cable is defective you have to replace it. The input won’t connect with a faulty wire. Check to see if your input cable works with another device to check if the cable is broken or if it’s another issue.

A clogged or broken port can lead to a lot of problems and can get worse the longer you ignore it, for one, certain functions can start to deteriorate. For a clogged port it would be best to carefully clean it out.
