  • Before starting this project we need to power down the phone, remove the back cover, take out the battery.
  • Have the device powered down to reduce the risk of damaging the device.

  • Very carefully slide the plastic prying tool along the sides of the phone to unhinge the locks.
  • If you have to use a metal one be careful not to slide it in too carefully as you might damage the sensors.

Step 3

  • Now that are device is open we need to remove the old mother board and replace it with a new one.
  • When putting the new one in be careful of the small sensor on the bottom as it can come off.
  • If this gets damaged the keyboard will not be able to be read any longer.
