The visual display on the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 is not bright enough for easy viewing.

From the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen to open the quick settings menu. Check if the auto brightness setting is activated. Depending on your environment, this feature may be turned on or off for better viewing.

From the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen to open the quick settings menu. Increase the brightness slider by sliding it to the right. Make sure that the auto-brightness setting is off.

Your Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 does not charge or fails to power up.

Check that you are only using a micro-USB charging cable connected to an AC power adapter for wall outlet charging. This will ensure the strongest charging connection. Using a different cable or plugging into a computer or power bank may prove sub-optimal for charging.

If your Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 fails to charge at all and the charging indicator light (on the power button) does not come one, it is likely that your internal battery needs to be replaced. The part you need is a Lenovo L14D3K31 3.7V 9600mAh lithium-ion battery.

The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 indicates a low wireless connection and fails to perform actions requiring the internet.

If experiencing a weak wireless connection, make sure the distance between the wireless modem and the tablet is not too great. If within range but still experiencing a problem, disconnect and reconnect to the wireless modem on the tablet.

Wireless signal may be weak due to the modem. To reset the modem, turn it off for 10 seconds or use the reset switch on the back if one exists.

You may have a faulty antenna within the device. You will need to replace the hardware within the device.

The screen on the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 is not responding to user inputs.

If your Android OS crashes and you are unable to use the home button or enter settings through the use of the drop down notification menu, hold down the power for 10 seconds until the device restarts.

If your tablet freezes within an application and the system interface is still responsive, you can exit the app by use of the home button and close the problematic application using the recents menu.

You may have a faulty display. You will need to replace the display.

Audio not coming from tablet or audio distorted.

Your speakers may be faulty. In this case you will need to replace the speakers in your device.

Your headphones may be faulty. In this case, you will need to buy new headphones.

Your headphones are plugged in but sound is not coming through them or not coming out properly. If sounds are only partially coming through your headphones or not coming through at all your headphones may not be properly plugged in completely. Ensure that headphones are properly plugged in.

Tablet overheats during general use, charging or while not in use.

You may be overworking your tablet. If you are using your tablet in a cool, dry environment and you are not charging your tablet while in use then your tablet should not be overheating. If it is overheating in these situations you may be doing too many things at once. Try closing some Internet tabs and closing apps not in use.

Your tablet may be in an environment that is too hot. Electronics are meant to be used in cool, dry environments. If you are not doing too many things on your tablet at once and you are not charging your tablet while in use than you might need to use your tablet in a cooler location.

You are using the charger while the tablet is in use. It is not recommended that you use your tablet while you are charging it. Aside from making it take longer for your tablet to charge, and possibly degrading your battery, your tablet may overheat if you use it while it is charging. Try letting your tablet charge while not in use.
