Conservation mode is automatically on to preserve the battery lifespan, so it will not charge over 60%. If you need a full charge to 100%, turn off conservation mode. Otherwise, keeping the charge between 30% and 60% will prolong battery life.

The WiFi connection with the router is either inconsistent or disconnected.

Turn WiFi settings off for a few seconds then turn them back on. If restarting your WiFi connections does not improve the connection, go into the driver advanced options and set “roaming aggressiveness” to 5. If issues continue, update or reinstall the Qualcomm Atheros WiFi driver. Updates and newer versions of the Qualcomm Atheros WiFi driver are available online.

Ensure your router is working, nearby, and connected to a power source. If issues continue, try rebooting the router. Then check if your router has QoS (Quality of Service) settings and see if it has the option to Disable WMM Support. If it does, disable it to see if it will resolve the router problems.

The WiFi signal continues to fail after checking computer settings and router connections. Consider replacing the AC Card with a compatible Intel or Thinkpad. Intel’s 8260, 8265, and 9260 cards are all compatible with the Yoga 920-13IKB.
