Introduction

Your Lenovo Yoga 720-12IKB needs a functioning Wireless LAN Card to be able to connect to the internet. Without the internet it can be difficult to enjoy the laptop to its full capabilities.

While taking out the Wireless LAN Card be mindful of the other components around as you could damage them.

What you need

Step 1

              Battery               
  • Unscrew and remove the four 5.5 mm Phillips #00 screws on the back panel.

  • Pull down on the cover to remove it and you will see the battery after removing the cover.

Step 3

  • Unscrew and remove the 4.0 mm Phillips #00 screws on the battery to remove it from the motherboard.

Step 4

  • Remove the battery wires from the socket on the motherboard above the battery.

  • Finally remove the battery from the case.

              Wireless LAN Card               
  • On the top right of the system you will find the wireless LAN card. Remove the 3.0 mm Phillips #00 screw.

Step 7

  • Disconnect both wireless LAN cables by pulling up.

  • Lift the wireless LAN card up and pull out.

  • You can now replace the wireless LAN card.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
