Introduction

In order to complete this guide, you’ll need to know how to solder connections and joints. Please follow the How to Solder and Desolder Connections guide for more information on soldering.

What you need

Step 1

              Back Panel               
  • Make sure back panel is facing up.
  • Remove eleven 5mm screws with the T5 Torx Screwdriver.

  • Lift back panel carefully.
  • You can now replace back cover, making sure to match screw holes and placement of the original.

              RAM               
  • Using a soldering iron, unsolder the joints connecting the RAM.
  • For more information on soldering, please visit the How to Solder and Desolder Connections guide.
  • Remove the RAM from the device.
