Laptop is unable to start but can be booted on a jump drive.

If the memory module’s pins are not properly connected to the mother board of the computer, the computer will not boot up. If the video card is not properly connected to the motherboard the computer will not boot up. There maybe a loose wire within the computer. Consider removing the back panel to check the connections and wires.

Files maybe corrupted or missing. Running a repairing software from a jump drive can help restore function to the laptop. Malicious software could have infected the laptop. Use a anti-virus software and rescue disk to detect and rid the virus.

If the laptop is fully charged, and you are able to boot the laptop through a jump drive then the hard drive within the laptop is faulty. Consider replacing the hard drive.

The bluetooth program is not starting with the laptop and will not connect to any devices.

Check to see if the Lenovo Yoga 2 11” 20428 bluetooth software is enabled. Settings>Devices>Bluetooth. Go through and enable the bluetooth software to connect to devices. If not able to enable, then move to Faulty Bluetooth Module section.

First check to make sure the bluetooth program software is enabled on the device. If enabled and bluetooth will not start nor connect, bluetooth module maybe faulty. Consider replacing the bluetooth module. Replacement Guide is found Here.

Touchpad on the Lenovo Yoga 2 11” 20428 is not responsive.

If available use external mouse to ensure that only the touch-pad is faulty. If the external mouse is able to move the cursor and interact with the software and the touch-pad is unable to replicate, then touch-pad is faulty. Consider replacing the touch-pad. Replacement Guide is found Here.

Speakers make a buzzing noise or is completely silent when volume is un-muted

First check to see if the volume is unmuted. Once volume is un-muted listen for either buzzing or other sounds. Also if no sound is coming out and the volume is un-muted then the speaker modules maybe faulty. Consider replacing speaker modules

Battery life of the laptop beings to drain immediately after disconnecting from power adapter.

If the laptop is not holding charge for the desginated life span or the battery is heating up very quickly while being idle, battery maybe faulty. Consider replacing the battery. Replacement Guide is found Here.
