Heat Sink
- Remove all twelve 6 mm long screws on the back of the laptop with a Phillips #1 screwdriver.
- Apply a lot of pressure to prevent the screws from stripping.
- Make sure to turn off the computer first!

- Pull off the back cover of the laptop. It should come off easily.

- Remove all six 7mm screws from the heat sink using the Phillips #1 screwdriver.

- Remove the heat sink.
- Take note of the gray thermal paste on the back of the heat sink.
- Refer to the iFixit Applying Thermal Paste Guide when replacing your heat sink.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

Hope someone see this cmt. I cannot lift up the heat sink for some reason. All 6 screws are removed. Any advice?
