Device will not power on when button is pressed.
Testing the connections of the battery can be done. If the battery connections have lost their integrity, consider replacing the battery of the device.
The RAM can be reconnected with this excellent guide. Reboot device. Alternatively, run a diagnostic check through the built-in troubleshooting hardware on the device that is located in settings.
Device shuts down during heavy workloads or performance is dramatically reduced.
An overheating device may have accumulated dust in the fan. This can be fixed by blowing compressed air into the fan to clear out debris. Consider replacing the fan if the dust cannot be cleared or overheating continues to be a problem after attempting to clean the fan. Look towards this guide to fix the device’s clogged fan.
The CPU may be throttling, which makes the device perform at a lower standard. Unexpected power losses or unexpected device shutdown despite a charged battery may be caused by CPU throttling. A new cooler and fan system may be replaced along with the application of thermal paste. Open and repair the device with this guide.
Device shuts down seemingly at random
Device is working at half capacity, or not to its full potential. Overall, the device is inefficient and powers down unexpectedly. The RAM, a component that makes the device work, may need to be inspected. Open device with this guide and inspect the RAM.
Screen has visual anomalies present such a black pixels, odd colors, or distorted images.
Device appears to have a distorted screen that either has a static or partially working display. If there are colored dots on the device screen, rub a soft fabric in a circular motion. If the device’s screen is static, fuzzy, or distorted, consider screen replacement by following this guide.
Keyboard registers incorrect keystrokes or none at all.
The keyboard can become locked out if a certain order of keys were pressed, resulting in locking keyboard functions. The keyboard may be locked out because of a spillage or bad connector. Go to device settings and remedy the keyboard with this guide.
Speakers sound distorted or fail to function at all.
The device’s speakers are performing at inadequate volume. Perhaps there is distortion in the sound. Reset the sound controller via device settings. Alternatively, the speakers can be replaced with this guide.
